The Regional Development Company of Crete S.A. continues its activities this summer! This time, it leverages the unique history and natural environment surrounding the M.Y.H.S. Agyia, organizing a morning program for children aged 6 to 12.
The purpose of the program is to make use of children’s free time during their summer holidays through a series of cultural, athletic, and educational activities. Upon arrival, they will be divided by age into groups, each with its own experienced group leader-educator.
- The summer camp will operate for a total of 6 weeks during June and July (17/06 – 26/07), from 08:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Children can attend one or all of the thematic periods, each lasting 2 weeks, as described:
Period A 17/06/2024 – 28/06/2024
Period B 01/07/2024 – 12/07/2024
Period C 15/07/2024 – 26/07/2024
- Arrival and departure can be done directly at M.Y.H.S. AGYIA (8:00 – 15:30) or from the courtyard of the Chania Regional Unit building. There, a bus with a chaperone will pick up the children for Agyia at 8:00 and return them at 15:30. Bus cost €4/day.
- The participation fee is 100 € per week or 200 € per period, with a 10% discount for children attending more than one period or for siblings.
- Children attending the summer camp should have eaten a light breakfast. Fruits and snacks will be provided during breaks, enjoyed under the trees in the courtyard of the Small Hydroelectric Station.
- Each child should wear sports clothes, a hat, and sports shoes, carrying a light backpack with sunscreen and a change of clothes.
Parents wishing to enroll their children in this program will be subject to priority order based on the date of submission of the participation form, as places are limited.
