The New Year’s cake cutting ceremony of the Regional Development Company of Crete S.A. took place on Friday 16/1/2026 in a warm and festive atmosphere at the company’s new offices, located on the first floor of the Chania Regional Unit building. The event was attended by the President and members of the Board of Directors, the General Director and staff of the Company, distinguished partners, as well as employees of the Region of Crete.
The event was accompanied by the blessing of the new offices, marking the beginning of a new creative year and, at the same time, the Company’s transition into a renewed phase of its broader corporate identity and organizational structure. This transition aims at upgrading and expanding the Company’s portfolio of activities, as well as optimizing the use of financial instruments and strengthening effective partnerships.
During the event, the President of the Regional Development Company of Crete S.A., Mr. Efstratios Flemetakis, stated:
“Today marks a new beginning for the Regional Development Company of Crete. Our relocation to the new offices, along with the reinforcement of our human resources, provides the Company with a significant—primarily operational—upgrade and the momentum to continue its work with consistency and vision. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen the local economy, foster innovation, and promote the sustainable development of the island.
