The previously known “Agricultural August” continues with the new institution of the “Land Festival,” featuring expanded participation of organizations, upgraded content, and broader goals.
Co-organized by the Region of Crete – Regional Unit of Chania, the Municipality of Chania, the Chania Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and all other Municipalities of the Chania Prefecture through a Programmatic Agreement, and implemented by the Regional Development Company of Crete (PANETAIK S.A.), the “Land Festival – People and Products” with the slogan “CHANIA: A Place to Come, A Way to Live” invites you to express interest and participate in its events which will be held from July 20 to 24, 2022 at the Western Moat.
Through booths of producers, businesses, municipalities, foundations, and organizations, as well as informational talks-presentations and a varied cultural program and activities for young and old, the Organizing Committee aims for the festival’s events to significantly promote our natural, productive, and cultural wealth, as part of a celebration of self-awareness for locals and an opportunity to explore all facets of our region for visitors.
