The Region of Crete and the Regional Development Company of Crete S.A., within the framework of the project titled “Operation of the Regional Mechanism for Support and Development of Social Entrepreneurship in the Region of Crete,” Priority Axis 1.3 “Promotion of research, innovation, and technology results in businesses,” OPS Code 5214799 of the Regional Operational Program of the Region of Crete 2021-2025, plan, in collaboration with ETAM S.A., the launch of informative events presenting the project to inform the public and explore the field in terms of demand, interest, and needs regarding the creation of Social Enterprises that could contribute to the unique character and landscape of each area as well as the needs of its residents and development opportunities.
The event will include:
- Information about the institution of Social & Solidarity Economy (European Institutions and Greek Legislation, Organization and Operation) by ETAM S.A. staff
- Presentation of the Program “Operation of the Regional Mechanism for Support and Development of Social Entrepreneurship in the Region of Crete” by the Director of PANETAIK S.A., Ms. Petrantonaki
- Information about the Call for proposals for funding Social and Solidarity Economy entities from the Regional Program “Crete 2021-2027” amounting to €2,000,000 by the Managing Authority of the Region of Crete
- Presentation of good prior practices & examples of social enterprises by the companies ETAM S.A. and PANETAIK S.A.
- Open discussion and consultation with all interested parties
