The Region of Crete and the Regional Development Company of Crete S.A., within the framework of the project titled “Operation of the Regional Mechanism for Support and Development of Social Entrepreneurship in the Region of Crete,” Priority Axis 1.3 “Promotion of Research, Innovation, and Technology Results in Businesses,” OPS Code 5214799 of the Regional Operational Program of Crete 2021-2025, continue their informational events presenting the project to inform the public and explore the field in terms of demand, interest, and needs concerning the creation of Social Enterprises that could contribute to the unique character and landscape of each area, as well as the needs of its residents and development opportunities.
During the above event, the following will take place:
- Information about the institution of Social & Solidarity Economy (European Institutions and Greek Legislation, Organization and Operation) by representatives of ETAM S.A.
- Presentation of the program “Operation of the Regional Mechanism for Support and Development of Social Entrepreneurship in the Region of Crete” by the Director of PANETAIK S.A., Ms. Petrantonaki.
- Presentation of good previous practices & examples of social enterprises by the companies ETAM S.A. and PANETAIK S.A.
- Open discussion and consultation with all interested parties.
